Definitely NO WYZE! After I updated the firmware, they no longer allow us to save to local SD card! I conctacted them, and they told me that I have to pay for cloud storage.

i do not see any issues with my 2 wyze cams. they both record to SD card and a 12sec cloud clip just fine. i do not pay for any subscription. //@Anonymous: Definitely NO WYZE! I pay their subscriptions. Not expensive compared with other competitors. //@Anonymous: Definitely NO WYZE! After I updated the firmware, they no longer allow us to save to local SD card! I conctacted them, and they told me that I have to pay for cloud storage.

If there is no subscription, Wyze soon will be bankrupt. Give a bit mercy to them

forcing to record to cloud to make some bucks is just absurd. I'm paying for the device. Cloud should be a choice for those who want. //@Anonymous: If there is no subscription, Wyze soon will be bankrupt. Give a bit mercy to them

you are right, right, right. Do you need their server? Literally, they do not prohibit you from record to local microSD, they give you the choice. Try to find ways to solve your problem is the first, not just cluelessly complaining. Their service just hiccupped in the past two days. //@Anonymous: forcing to record to cloud to make some bucks is just absurd. I'm paying for the device. Can we integrate with ring

What do you mean by integrate with ring? Kasa comes with its own app and can be integrated with Alexa. I have used Echo to watch the Kasa doorbell cam. //@anonymous: Can we integrate with ring

Also Kasa don’t require subscription unlike the ring devices. Even Wyze cams started to push for subscription services much more than before now. You have to “opt-in” in order to have the 12-second recordings for free (Wyze) and disable the micro sd storage function….I would go with Kasa at this point. //@anonymous: Can we integrate with ring

I have one of these. It is actually pretty good. I like the Pan/Tilt functionality. The only thing is that when you try to use the microphone to talk you hear a very loud sound which cannot be adjusted.

Wish it was battery operated. The cord is an inconvenience if you want to change the location of the camera.

These were $5 each not long ago. I got four and they work great -- even without the subscription.

I got 4 as well from Home Depot. Not even opened the boxes yet.
