I did this deal when it was $400. I used a separate hotspot for wifi and turned off the cellular data. I only paid $20 plus tax/fees for 120 days and got an unlocked phone. It is easy to cancel and they show a countdown of the 120 days. The only catch is that you have to port a number that hasn't been on their system for a certain time period. If you have to pay $10/gb, that is too expensive.

I'm looking at their site to see how long it will last for. I have a family member on my current plan who lives far away but she is visiting April 30. I have questions:
Can I order this now and not activate until April 30, and still get all of the benefits?
If I order this now, but don't activate until April 30, do our current lines stop working?
How long do you think that this deal will be good for? Perhaps I should wait until 4 days before she arrives.

this is just a bait, if you want the 10 dollar credit, you have to pay another 20 dollar to get a 30 dollar monthly service. and you may get charged for the 2rd month, another 30 dollar before you can conceal the service. for that money, I will get a 45 dollar 3 month service from mint

I am considering to buy this SIM card because future abroad travel. I think Google Fi only shines when used outside of US, not because it is cheap.
I am using Xfinity mobile. 3G for $30+$10 tax for up to 5-6 lines. So average per person price is $8/month/line. You can't beat that. But admittedly, you must have their internet service at home, which may not be cheap.

Xfinity ith By the Gig lines, a minimum $15.00 charge applies per month, regardless of data usage.

Not good enough. $250 to upgrade from S21 to S22. iPhone upgrades usually cost around $100.
