New MacBooks with M1 chip have problems with SSD (somehow it is used too much) and the problem is especially pronounced with small SSD. Be aware and do your research.

For most old gen i5 will get job done, for those who require video editing, or processor power would not have looked at entry level macbook pro even if it had latest gen i5, they would have picked up i7 instead.

Apple lowered the entry level models by cutting corners. 2-3 year old CPU, only two thunderbolt ports on one side. The only difference from previous model are ‘switching back’ to old good keyboard and expand RAM to 256GB.

The Apple news link is broken. Someone's service has a bug, the "[promocode]" has never been replaced by a real promo code. Sad.
So you may want to do it manually on your iPhone.
- Go to App Store
- Click on your profile/photo on the top right
- Click in Redeem Gift Card or Code
