I don’t think it is really good. However since you are a new investor, you can learn the stocks and their thought process and do your own research. If it is not absolutely free without the Amex card offer then it is not worth it. So just remember to cancel the membership after the year

I suppose for someone who pays $550 annual fee for the platinum card, these are the bare minimum Amex can give. The platinum benefits are mostly travel related which are not as useful during the pandemic.
