Eh.. Anyone else having problems with the Homedepot website? I cannot sign in to my existing account, but when I try to set up a new account (apparently, my only option), it tells me my phone number is already in their records.. (the log-in to existing account link simply refreshes to the account creation screen, and there's no exit to the loop). Ahh, well..

These have a much higher MERV rating (or other rating system) than the cheap arm and hammer filters, so their price is justified. However, that doesn't mean everyone needs this higher level of filtration. //@anonymous: This seems a little expensive. The cheap arm and hammer filters are merv8, which is equivalent to FPR5. Their performance is so much different.

Those are cheap and basic. You want high performance and quality ones like the HDX FPR10 filters, especially if you or your loved ones like your little guys are sensitive to air quality. I've been using 3M MPR1500 and above, which is much better than the basic ones. //@Anonymous: This seems a little expensive.
