Unless you are editing 4k/8k videos, intensive GFX/FX work, or 3d modeling - you don't need more than 8GB with an M chip CPU.

Safari uses 1.2 gb with 10 tabs open. As a daily user of browser i open 20-30 tabs all the same time. Which causes about 4gb.
