Can this work as a juice maker too, or do I need to buy something different?

This is not a juicer - it can't separate the solid from the blend. However, with a strong motor and a superior blade, it blends a very fine mix of solid and juice. A great way to enjoy vegetable and fruits without throwing away the good solid part from the blend. //@Anonymous: Can this work as a juice maker too, or do I need to buy something different?

I am pretty sure I can spend $100 for a smart blender with wifi connection, or voice control, etc after 2 years.
Ridiculously to use small appliances like blender many years. They are supposed to use no more than 2 or 3 years and get replaced on a regular basis. //@Anonymous: This one is very powerful and will easily last 15 years.

Try to make a smooth drink by blending almond, kale, broccoli and beet root together in a $20 Oyster blender, $120 Ninja blender and $400 Vitamix. The Vitamix is able to deliver a quality blend that the other two can't. That's why smoothy shops, and restaurants use Vitamix. //@Anonymous: If you think $400 is a good deal for a blender I've got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale...

You can get exact same blender same motor will do exactly same thing just different model number from Costco $249. Only difference you don't have presets for ice cream and hot soup. All that means your can stop it yourself and save you $150
