Amazon is charging tax in NY on this. I contacted their customer service and they reviewed it and said it is correct. According to the NY sales tax site, it says nuts that are candy coated or honey roasted is taxable. I don't think pepper is candy even though it says flavored. My local costco is not charging tax on the same product so either costco or amazon is wrong. Can someone knowledgeable on NY tax comment on this? How about other states? I don't mind paying tax but it should be correct. Think about the volume of business amazon does.

Amazon charges tax on shipping as well if you are not getting free shipping.
Also charges tax on prime memberships.
Probably Only company doing that.
Apparently they dont pay much federal taxes either. Passing all to the taxpaying customers.
Some smart lawyer can and should sue them
