That's a good question. I think to make the same tool cheaper (with lower capacity batteries) and better match the needs of the customer. If you only need a tool for 15 minutes, a 40V battery may do the job. //@Anonymous: Why does Greenworks PRO make so many different voltages of tools & batteries: 40V, 60V, 80V...

I personally do not see much use for 7" chop saw. They state it can cut 2 by 4 and about 4" of plywood - perhaps this would be enough for some applications.

It's only $30. Just return it if it doesn't work. Just don't regret when you find out afterward. //@Anonymous: Is 5.5” circular saw capable of cutting through 2 by 4? I’ve seen conflicting reviews.

Yes it can, but just barely. That is what multiple reviews online say, if you’re willing to read them. //@anonymous: No //@anonymous: Is 5.5” circular saw capable of cutting through 2 by 4? I’ve seen conflicting reviews.

The 13” is great for small lawns. It does the job and it is so small and light that it is easy to store in the garage. You can practically hang it on the wall even.

He said for a small yard. And yes, yard work can be exercise. At least I look at it that way. Why not? //@Anonymous: Oh, no, meaning you walk forever and double work time.Yard work is not exercise, should be done efficiently. //@anonymous: The 13” is great for small lawns. Use it for tiny lawns like in a town house or first floor condo.

Don't disagree that 13" is ludicrously small, but WHOLEHEARTEDLY dispute that yard work isn't exercise. It is, and should be done as such. //@Anonymous: Oh, no, meaning you walk forever and double work time.Yard work is not exercise, should be done efficiently. //@anonymous: The 13” is great for small lawns.
