So I'm not the most scientific chef by any means. But it seems to me that if the problem w. olive oil is that it burns at high heat, why blend it with sunflower oil, won't it still burn off and leave you with just sunflower oil? Does blending them raise the burning point of the olive oil while preserving some of the taste?
