I have been debating with myself over this for more than 10 years now. $153 for a rice cooker that takes longer to cook the same amount of rice vs most cookers out there. Price for mediocre everyday rice is about $1.10 per pound where I live.

I just threw away a small one. I used it for several years until I suddenly found out the non-stick interior peeled off pretty badly. Not good to your health.
