This is OPEN BACK. Not for noise canceling purpose at all. Bose sound quality is horrible comparing to these.

I think he referred to HD1, which has ANC. Bose is not necessarily that bad at all. The built-in amp on QC25 and QC35 is pretty good imho. The sound is balanced but others say it's too harsh, just personal taste I guess. //@anonymous: This is OPEN BACK. Not for noise canceling purpose at all. Crack is an issue. What I dislike most is the connection ability of it, can only connect one device at a time. A little heavy, seems a little bulky/not flexible as QC35 //@Anonymous: lots of review said cheap plastic easy to crack. not the original Sony?!
