I think he referred to HD1, which has ANC. Bose is not necessarily that bad at all. The built-in amp on QC25 and QC35 is pretty good imho. The sound is balanced but others say it's too harsh,just personal taste I guess. //@anonymous: This is OPEN BACK. Not for noise canceling purpose at all. Bose sound quality is horrible comparing to these.

This is OPEN BACK. Not for noise canceling purpose at all. Bose sound quality is horrible comparing to these.
