"High-Efficiency" washing machines are generally bad because they leave a lot of chemical in clothing. The price for this one is good, though. Get it before the price goes up because imported washing machines are getting high import tax, and the US made washing machines will definetely bump up the prices.

not available order 1 and called up and was told stores have damaged washer RMA return to vendor and it still shows as in stock until it is picked up. buyer beware. same at the only other store in area. Clerk said they have been on clearance for months and out of stock for a long time

That's not true. There is no standard definition for High Efficiency at all. Department of Energy regulates the water and electricity usage. Today all washers are high efficiency because they use less water and HE detergent.
