What is the device referring to? Is it a phone or just the SIM kit? //@Anonymous: Device purchase required for a free month of service:

Total Wireless does allow use of LTE iPads. Only way I ever found to get them to work though is by first activating a phone with a Total Wireless SIM card in it, then changing devices to the iPad LTE with it's own Total Wireless SIM card. It won't work trying to move SIM card around, Total Wireless pairs the SIM card to the device IMEI.

Once activated, can it be used on cellular-equipped Apple Watch?
The whole Apple Family Setup solution is very costly, but $10 a month for your loved one sounds like a good deal.

checked the ebay site, not clear if the Plan w/ 1200 Min, 1200 Txt & 3GB Data/ month or /year. if this is all you get for the e tire year, not worth it. considering it as a back up phone.

It's for the whole year, and there's nothing stopping you from using the entire thing in an hour if your kid fires up Youtube in the car or something. //@Anonymous: checked the ebay site, not clear if the Plan w/ 1200 Min, 1200 Txt & 3GB Data/ month or /year. if this is all you get for the e tire year, not worth it. considering it as a back up phone.

this is for 1 year and it's worth it - cheapest plan under $4 a month, all alotments divided by 12 for average monthly use. Wouldn't worth it for a month! //@Anonymous: checked the ebay site, not clear if the Plan w/ 1200 Min, 1200 Txt & 3GB Data/ month or /year.

It means you can use the number for a year with a total of 1200 mins, 1200 texts, and 3GB data. If you need more you need to pay extra to refill it. //@anonymous: checked the ebay site, not clear if the Plan w/ 1200 Min, 1200 Txt & 3GB Data/ month or /year. if this is all you get for the e tire year, not worth it. considering it as a back up phone.
