I don’t think it’s necessary, but please correct me if I’m wrong. For the desktop version, TurboTax includes all tax forms. If you receive a 1099-MISC (or 1099-B) from your brokerage, you can simply enter the form manually or import it directly from your brokerage account (prefer). In most cases, the brokerage already calculates the capital gains and losses. Do not buy this model from Costco. The water level markers are grey - impossible to read. I saw some people bought it years ago and it had clear white markers.
