Why too good to be true?
you can only install it one time, once you uninstall it,
you can't reinstall it again //@Anonymous: Does it work? It sounds too good to be true.

Woot is owned by Amazon, so it should be legitimate.

If I upgrade my PC or Mac in the future, will I be able to re-use the same codes? Or do I have to keep buying it as I get new laptops?

M$FT made a good brand in Surface but then started milking the cow hard. They used too many cheap parts. The SSD in mine died in 13 months. It's soldered on and couldn't be replaced. So $1300 for 13 months of use. I won't let M$ft fool me twice.

Pro X doesn't have a USB-A!
I wish it has a deal just for Pro 7.

If you purchase with credit card it should give you extra 1 year of extend warranty to cover this kind of failure //@anonymous: M$FT made a good brand in Surface but then started milking the cow hard. be aware it is ARM based and therefore no full windows experience

It can't run any x64 apps, and can only emulate x86 32 bits, so very slow. Multitasking is a bit lame. Battery wise, it is not as great as what Microsoft claims. Microsoft office suites are okay. It has 4G LTE, so good for mobile use.

terrible quality. M$FT built a good brand name in Surface but has been milking it too hard. The fundamental problem is that the parts are all soldered on hence nothing can be replaced easily. That's fine if quality parts are used like in iPad, but no M$FT used cheap parts. Once that $50 SSD or RAM dies, the entire thing goes.

Yeah, battery is the only complaint. Overall, it is a great laptop. I like it. //@Anonymous: battery sucks.

Exactly. Battery deteriorates quickly after 2-3 years of use, and then the whole thing becomes trash. Check ifixit if you dare to replace it. It is almost irreplaceable if you don't want to risk breaking your screen. I have my battery-dead Surface hooked up with a monitor and use it as a desktop. At least it still turns on lol... //@Anonymous: Yeah, battery is the only complaint. Overall, it is a great laptop. I like it. //@Anonymous: battery sucks.
