Dyson stuff breaks mad easily... just had to send in a supersonic hairdryer that stopped working after a few months of use.... they however have a very good warranty program. Not sure if refurbs have warranty

We have this vacuum and while it's almost perfect. I would highly advise against it if you have thick carpet. They set up the cleaner head to be sealed, leading to too much suction and you're basically having a really hard time going back and forth high-pile carpet. Lots of reviews mention this, I wish I knew and that Dyson had a proper solution. It's amazing otherwise.
