Just curious, the Mac mini same spec comes to 550$ is the monitor portion worth the extra $1,000? I meant if you buy a decent external monitor would it suffice the experience?

iMac also includes keyboard and mouse. But for me I don't think the screen itself worth the difference in price. //@anonymous: Just curious, the Mac mini same spec comes to 550$ is the monitor portion worth the extra $1,000? And beside keyboard and mouse it also has camera and built in mic. So you don't need peripherals to have a video call. //@anonymous: Just curious, the Mac mini same spec comes to 550$ is the monitor portion worth the extra $1,000? I like how they hide Ram size in the entire web page. I have to Google to find out it's generous 8gb.

Wow, how did we get to a point where a tablet costing more than $1,200 is an "Awesome deal"? As an Apple stockholder, I thank you all for forking over your hard-earned money. //@Anonymous: Awesome deal

If it doesn’t affect performance, why do you care the RAM is 8 or 16 GB? Value for the money should not be judged based on specifications/configuration. //@anonymous: 256GB 8GB RAM, 512GB 8GB RAM; 1TB 16GB RAM, 2TB 16GB RAM

You need to understand how Apple’s unified memory architecture works and how “8 GB” is split between GPU and CPU. So when you are providing 8 gb for 11” and same 8 gb for 13”, is 11” M4 overpowered and is a better value or is 13” m4 underpowered and needs more memory. QED. //@anonymous: If it doesn’t affect performance, why do you care the RAM is 8 or 16 GB? For the record 13” iPad is 40% bigger area-wise than the 11” iPad. //@anonymous: You need to understand how Apple’s unified memory architecture works and how “8 GB” is split between GPU and CPU.
