I think this one is better than M1 8GB. You can upgrade it to 32gb ram and 1 tb ssd for around 200$. The CPU doesn’t matter if you normally use. The single threads difference is not that much

i totally agree. this one is easier to be upgraded than the new M1 chip. so slim, harder to upgrade and way more expensive to repair if it broke down. //@Anonymous: I think this one is better than M1 8GB. Disagree. 21.5" models after 2011 are hard to upgrade RAM and SSD. only 27" models can be upgraded by yourself //@Anonymous: I think this one is better than M1 8GB. This “German” keyboard version of this MacBook Pro is similar to a standard US keyboard, but this keyboard layout features extra “German” ä, ö, and ü “umlaut” vowels grouped together on the right side, the positions of the "Z" and "Y" keys are switched, and there are a few other minor differences in the keys (see photo for reference).
"Also, this MacBook model is compatible with an external keyboard. After connecting the external keyboard, end users would then go into “System Preferences” “Keyboard” “Input source” then add “US English” and remove “ABD-QWERT”. Then both keyboards will operate in US English mode."

because of the Z Y switch that's why it is a deal breaker! Nordic version also has 3 additional letters but QWERTY 26 are same //@storm22: This “German” keyboard version of this MacBook Pro is similar to a standard US keyboard, but this keyboard layout features extra “German” ä, ö, and ü “umlaut” vowels grouped together on the right side, the positions of the "Z" and "Y" keys are switched, and there are a few other minor differences in the keys (see photo for reference).

I emphasize outside and inside, but fashion is by definition outside. //@Anonymous: Ok, everybody has his/her own taste.
