My Mac mini connected with two 24 inch monitors serves the same purpose, and is better than one 27 inch monitor IMHO.

One reason that Apple use to defend its decision not to use large memory is to save battery. However, this computer does not even have a battery yet it still choose to use 8 g memory. This is very silly.
