My honest advice: visit a Verizon store in person and review your plan carefully before making any changes. The only real benefit I received was a new iPhone with a 3-year contract — but everything else came with unexpected costs.

$5,300+ commitment (including the activation fees) is a bit too much. I would rather be on the lookout for deals with the MVNOs like Mint, USM, Boost, or H2O. My friend has USM unlimited data (10 gigs 5G) Verizon (no data downgrade) connection for $180 a year incl tax. It highly depends on what you are using the watch for. For workout, running and fitness purposes garmin is best. For smartwatch features and app ecosystem can’t beat Apple. So depends o. iPhone 13 has vastly improved battery life and an important camera bump up. If you have a 12 is the upgrade worth it? No. But for my XS Max most definitely yes. Especially with the $1k AT&T credit. For iOS integration and features offered because it's part of the ecosystem, it works great. Sure there are better watches for specific needs ie. Look at the most expensive plan, it give you $250 Amazon gift card, during the checkout process I was offered a Verizon $200 gift card also. I will also receive a free $300 speaker of some kind. Since I have Visible phone service I'll receive $10 off my monthly Verizon bill. Effectively my total for 6 months will be $390, since my monthly bill is $65. Not a bad deal, plus I'll get 1 perk.

just call 611 from your verizon cell phone and ask custom service if you are eligible or not. it will reduce $20 for each line for 1 year. and your plan will not change.
