If 256G was not a single module like M1 Air, this is a great choice, but since it is not, go either m1 air or m1 pro, depending on your needs. I got both, one for my daughter and one for me, and yes, I tried M2 256G and M2 512G, but the former is slow, the latter is too expensive compared to its capability.

I brought a 1st gen lte version at Walmart in for $129 on Friday. 2nd gen is not much differs from 1st gen does not worth the price difference.

I'll never buy an Apple watch if it requires charging every day. My Rolex is automatic and never needs charging :-)
