Release date: This device was announced during Apple's keynote event on September 9, 2026, and was officially released to the public on September 18, 2026.

The Apple Watch Ultra 4 introduces several significant internal upgrades over the previous generation (Apple Watch Ultra 3), making it a major leap forward in health accuracy, processing power, and battery endurance.
• S11 Chipset: The watch is powered by a brand-new S11 chip—representing the first major internal processor change in over three years—enabling smoother UI navigation and masterfully fluid Siri interactions.
• Doubled Memory: It features 4GB RAM compared to the 2GB found on last year's model, allowing for enhanced on-device processing.
• Expanded Capacity: Storage has been upgraded to 64GB of internal storage.
❤️ Reworked Health Sensing System
• 5-Second Heart Rate Tracking: A completely redesigned sensor array (featuring 8 photodiodes arranged in a ring) takes heart rate readings every 5 seconds. This is a massive upgrade over the Ultra 3, which took readings every few minutes or required you to open an app manually
• Readiness Score: Utilizing more frequent HRV readings, a new Readiness App provides a 0–10 score indicating how prepared your body is for training and daily stress.
• Health Age Metric: A new biological health metric allows you to compare your overall fitness markers and lab results against people in your actual age group.

It's to help you know if it is covid or just a cold while you're home...before you drive to get a pcr test to confirm it. FDA study: "BinaxNow COVID-19 Ag Card," Positive Agreement (to PCR test, which is far more accurate), 84.6%. Negative agreement, 98.5%).

CDC study: "Evaluation of Abbott BinaxNOW Rapid Antigen Test for SARS-CoV-2 Infection at Two Community-Based Testing Sites," "Compared with real-time RT-PCR testing, the BinaxNOW antigen test had a sensitivity of 64.2% for specimens from symptomatic persons and 35.8% for specimens from asymptomatic persons." //@cloiser: fake news //@anonymous: Uh, these at home tests generate a 15% false negative rates and 1 to 2% false positive rates. I'm not sure what that have to do with what I posted. Even before Omicron, these at home kits were even in the most flatter studies, generating high false negative tests (15%) compared to PCR tests. In other studies, it performed even worse. I cited both, assuming that posts is being viewed by admin before posting. I'm not the initial poster who said used a magic 8 ball, but whatever reason he made that post, he's kind of right on. //@Anonymous: Common cold and flu are also caused by coronavirus, which are close family to Sars-Cov2. You should READ the study, specifically the CDC one. In that study one of the things they test is is people who TESTED POSITIVE from the PCR test (which they confirmed with a second), and this kit STILL returned false negatives. And as I quoted directly, terrible sensitivity especially for asympomatic cases. So to summarize, even people whom we KNOW to have the virus, STILL tested falsely using these test kits. //@Anonymous: It's just a test, people.
