you need to use membership points at least 768 or something like that. won't work for cards that don't have points like delta.

It's November now, for three statement-credits, it would require the billing cycle ending on the last day of each month and make a qualified purchase on Jan 1st before the offer ends. So most likely, it will be a two-month statement credits.
