What I read is over 90% of Windows App Store apps are Windows RT compatible. That's not bad. I guess Windows users prefer ultrabook over tablet in general. Frankly, it is similar situation between Apples's iOS and OSX. No one ever says iOS is a big mistake of Apple. One has to decide if he wants a light-weight, long-battery tablet or a powerful workstation.

I used my Surface RT daily to do email, web, as well as movie streaming (even some foreign movie sites). Yoga RT is a good option with similar price point.

No Apps? It has Office (free), plus all the common mail, calendar, contact apps. Now Adobe Photoshop Express is in Windows Store for RT. What else do you need on a ultra portable 11 inch laptop?

you don't like RT?
try using a productivity on an ipad. RT deserves some credit for being a nice tablet to do work on.
