I personally think apple tags are useless for all practical purposes. It is at best works if it is in the same room as your phone. You move to a different location with as minimum as with 2-3 walls it does not work. We have firesticks on all our tvs. Picked up a new tv for our bedroom that happened to have roku built in, I have to say I'm impressed with the roku os. Easy to navigate, apps never hang or need to be manually closed like on the firestick sometime.

I was lucky to get one from BestBuy local store using price-match when Walmart was on sale and available. The price was $449 after price-match and there is 5% in-store Cashback from third party Cashback website, plus credit card has 10% back up to $25 offer (chase). Combined almost $100 off.
