If you see a higher price, dont clear cookie, just remove products and add them again, you will get $5.12 price plus tax.
However, if you see error when you apply coupon, you need clear cookies and try again.

Yes you can, final total price will be slightly higher depending on what you choose. You can select higher, but not lower. Otherwise you won't get free shipping.

If you see $10.12, you are right, after you enter zip code and estimate, you will see extra $5 off discount. If you still dont see $5 discount, then you need remove products and try again. You probably didn't check one $5 coupon on product page.
