Wonder how ridiculous and bitter you all sound talking like this on a deal site. What was the last thing you made that people around the world enjoyed? //@anonymous: That is what I thought. I have slowly realized how rich the American are. 8 dollar for a “fancy” drink is affordable. Starbucks has its target group. And it is a kind of fashion/popular to have something from Starbucks for 14-17. For me their normal coffee might be stronger than Macdonalds’. Well, "just" 20% is enough for most people. Paying $80 for a $100 gift card ("just" 20%) ain't too shabby, but if it isn't rich enough for you, "just" pass on it. My beef with this promotion is that it doesn't tell you if all of the redemptions have been used, so you're not guaranteed to get the $5. //@Anonymous: So essentially just 20%....

If I can’t call when I need the most, what’s the point in having a phone and saving $$. //@anonymous: I already saved $1200+ by switching to T-Mobile from Verizon about a year back. 2 phones were $200+ taxes, additional charges... per month in Verizon just because I kept unlimited data. Now its $100 in Tmobile with everything unlimited and international roaming data, free wifi in flights and free Netflix.

So I don't really want that $5 from Verizon
