Google Fi is introducing a new Unlimited Essentials Plan, at $35 per month for one line, offering unlimited calls, text, and data, along with access to 30GB of high-speed data.

Taxes and fees are extra. I had the flexible plan for $20 and it came out to $27 after taxes. I rather have visible. Fi is not competitive unless you are getting a deal on a phone.

You loose quite a bit of features if you join this plan. Net loss with this plan

Unlimited Essentials is not good at all. It does not include free international roaming data, not even in Mexico/Canada.

They even had better price this year. The only issue is that they don't support Apple Watch. That was the only reason why I switched from Fi to TMobile although I like the Fi service --- my kids are using Apple Watch as their phone. If Fi supports Apple Watch, we will switch back
