Also you can choose any wheels but yeah I agree, especially with $299 lease options the older model is a better value. Also the seven seat option is gone even though the seats were too small but probably still ok for kids

The only problem I see with the equinox ev is the ccs charger. Gm plans to change to the nacs (tesla) standard in 2026, Ford already has, so buying an equinox ev with cas would be a bad idea, no one will want to buy it in 5 years, you can use an adapter but it's much less convenient. //@anonymous: Get a Chevy equinox ev

No extended range?

drove it in snow one day; terrible dual motor snow performance; wiper not working well, window heating function not working well and ice completely covered the window while driving; could not stop in the middle because i was driving in the mountain and there were many many cars following me in the heavy snow; for a moment i felt there gonna be accident. FSD completely stop working and leave users dangerous situation when they really need. Eventually found a spot and quickly stop and clean the window; continue to drive and in 10min same thing happened again. Complete garbage

These are nice in Tech but boy the worst cars. You think you are saving money on gas but actually your total expenses go up like crazy. Such worst decision if you are thinking of buying this metal box with batteries in it.

Same long range new model are selling around 40k, 35% lower than American market. Tariff?

The fake leather stains easily, and the carpet material feels kinda cheap. Also the tablet thingy in the middle is cool, but it's also annoying. They clearly cheaped out by removing all of the physical controls and making them touch screen options. If you want to open the glove box, you gotta open the Controls screen and hit the button for it. The windshield wipers are based on the camera and some bad AI. Sometimes they turn on when it's bone dry outside, sometimes they don't turn on in heavy rain. I could go on, but I am past the lemon law period, so I kind of have to live with it. And of course the stigma that comes with being associated with a brand that is tainted by a childish cult of personality...
