I want this deal. But I won't switch from Google fi, because I travel internationally 45 to 55 days a year. Woth Google fi, I pay an extra 30 per month per line for unlimited everything, only on the months I am traveling. It's like 50 bucks a day woth Verizon. I could get local sims, but it's a mild pain, and they lock the phones. So I'm go na lass. As far as I know, the US government basically does not approve overseas carriers to operate in the United States, citing security issues. I guarantee that once they are allowed to operate, the three major US carriers will lose all their loyal customers in a matter of minutes. The company I work for often has overseas projects. Don't forget the surcharges that could add another $10 or more to your bill. It is still a deal, but much less attractive.
