If you have $200 lying around for two pieces of cookware (you can definitely use the lid as a grill) that will last you a lifetime, look no further.
A few comments on cleaning. Normally enameled cast iron pots are not dishwasher safe. The Staub ones that I own say you can, although not too often. Also, the grill side of the lid can be cleaned manually of greasy sticky stuff not with a sponge, but with chain mail. Steel rings in the chain mail are small enough to get into the grooves, and have no sharp edges that damages the coating.
