True. The cord is a tradeoff. In my experience cordless ones either eat batteries so fast that they end up not being cheap, or they're rechargeable ones are just far more expensive. Plus it seems like the rechargeable cordless ones don't get very good reviews while this one does. This might be a good option for some people. //@Anonymous: not wireless
