Changing more frequently won't help with oil burning. You need to correct the oil burning problem before the burnt oil damages your catalytic converter. //@Anonymous: Mobile 1 $63.88 if you change it every 5000 miles or less. (For cars that burn oils you want to change more frequently)

You can change any oil at 5K or less. The others just have different amounts of additives. If your engine is burning or losing oil that’s a different issue than just oil changes.
