Just drain the gas from the carburetor before winterizing it. Even ethanol free gas builds up over time. My experience from 20+ motorcycles. Also, ethanol free gas is difficult to get in most areas. The closet one to me is 30 miles away. //@Anonymous: Make sure to get ethanol free gas if you don't plan to use it very often. Have a similar one for camping and ethanol gas gummed it up really bad between seasons. Probably should have drained it too...
