Hori-hori has a full tang knife which is only $2.97 more than this half tang one on Amazon. Unfortunately full tang one is not on woot for sale price //@anonymous: Hori-hori knife is not full-tang, FYI. Works fine for what it is, just don't forget it in the field if you don't want the handle to discolor.
