Aeropress is an immersion method, not like espresso at all. The original poster was just saying he can't afford an espresso machine so he'll stick with what he has -- an Aeropress.

Just want to make sure you know the difference. I find it odd to compare pour over with espresso. Btw, check your AeroPress rubber, it will eventually turned sticky with all that hot water. //@anonymous: Um yeah, we know they’re different. //@anonymous: AeroPress make coffee, this one make espresso. Its very different, I just bought this and the hardest part is to tune it so your shot is balanced. //@Anonymous: I want this but it still doesn't feel cheap enough. I guess I'll stick with my Aeropress.

Single double shot for the 16oz latte. Otherwise, I can't sleep ;) //@Anonymous: Hi! May I ask do you grind two times and make two double shot for 16oz latte? Thanks //@anonymous: Honestly, I have one, and I think I liked the earlier model (bes870xl) with the pressure gauge. If you aren't finicky about getting the espresso just right, this one is still good. It heats up super quick, so you can basically use it right after you turn it on. Other than that, I liked the grind adjustment knob better on the 870xl. Also the 870xl can steam for a bit longer. This one just stops steaming after a set period of time, and for a 16oz latte, I find myself having to steam in two batches. //@Anonymous: I want this but it still doesn't feel cheap enough. Excellent choice, BBE is a plastic facsimile of the espresso experience that requires hundreds more spent on a real grdiner to get to adequate coffee. Aeropress makes as good if not better drinks for $30. //@Anonymous: I want this but it still doesn't feel cheap enough. I guess I'll stick with my Aeropress.
