I fail to see the advantage of a battery powered miter saw. These things are supposed to be on stable, hard surface, and bringing a power cord next to that should not be an issue.

Doesn't work. From the reviews, it was $285 back in 2018. It's still a great deal though. As a DIYer, not sure if I need it for just a couple of uses a year as it's $400+tax.
