I’ve tried several “cheap” espresso makers and regretted each one. If you really like espresso you either have to buy it from a good barista or buy a high end espresso maker.

Sounds like you’re the one round up. Don’t make assumptions based on a few reviews. You are not thinking about how many units there are in the world and not everyone posts feedback. If you want something get it.
