a@@hole alert //@Anonymous: What's in it for me? If nothing then not a deal.

Sentence was confusing, but I think Amazon is actually giving away $5 million dollars. Wonder if there's a limit for each driver. //@Anonymous: 1 million thank you for $5 only. Way to go Amazon!

By anonymous on 12/21/2022, 07:02 PM EST
$1M x $5 = $5M to how many Amazon drivers? I gotta get a driver job before Xmas!

He should pay atleast $100 to each employee as gift instead of paying $100 million Van Jones and Dolly Patron. //@Anonymous: Wow, worked for me. Glad I'm an Amazon driver who was lucky enough to deliver to my own home!

By anonymous on 12/21/2022, 02:33 PM EST
Does Amazon intend to collecting our voices for world database?

By anonymous on 12/21/2022, 02:28 PM EST
Don't be silly, it is $5 per thank you, you can count by yourself //@Anonymous: 1 million "thank yous" for $5 only. That is a way high bar for a driver. Each thank you is 0.0005 cents ?!

By anonymous on 12/21/2022, 02:24 PM EST
Seems you misunderstood, the first 1 million drives who received Thank you will get $5. //@Anonymous: 1 million "thank yous" for $5 only. That is a way high bar for a driver. Each thank you is 0.0005 cents ?!

Starting December 21, eligible drivers will be offered $5 per "thank you" for another 1 million "thank yous."

By anonymous on 12/09/2022, 04:01 AM EST
People have this a bit confused. EACH driver that receives a thank you gets $5 from AMAZON, not from the customer they delivered too. Amazon will continue to pay out these $55 tips until they have paid out one million dollars in tips! The five drivers that receive the most thank you's, will receive an additional $10,000 and Amazon will donate another $10,000 to the favorite charity of those five drivers. It is a great program and a good way to incentivise drivers to give better service!

Does this means Amazon ask us to help pay their drivers christmast bonus? I respect the drivers but this is low for Amazon…

By anonymous on 12/08/2022, 07:58 AM EST
I’m a driver and we don’t get paid much, we pay gas out of our own pockets . I already got two thanks, I guess not all people are grinches! //@anonymous: So the buyer receives nothing?

By anonymous on 12/08/2022, 03:56 AM EST
There seems to be some confusion ...
"The first 1 million "thank yous" will get $5 per thank you."
Within the first 1 million. a driver can get say 2000 "thank yous" and get a bonus of $10,000 and another driver 1800 "thank yous" and get a bonus of $9,000 and so on until $5 million is paid.

Be generous. Buy an Alexa-enabled device.

My Amazon delivery guy doesn’t deserve a penny. Always throw my packages. I confronted him many time and still toss my packages.

By anonymous on 12/07/2022, 10:22 PM EST
I'm afraid that this is a reward no drivers can get because "Drivers who receive the first 1 million "thank yous" will get $5 per thank you"... which is like ONE driver has to cover the ENTIRE Austin, TX and everyone has to thank him/her. Yes, each customer can thank a driver more than once. Let's say EVERYONE in a city thanks him 10 times, then that city still need to have 100,000 residents.

Because deep down you know you are a model customer. //@anonymous: If I want, I will give the tip to the driver. Why I need to beg Alexa for 5$ and they will use that data for modeling.

Not only do we have to pay for membership now we have to help them pay bonuses to their employees.

By anonymous on 12/07/2022, 07:55 PM EST
Amazed by your imagination... Probably you should read that sentence again and tell the difference between "Drivers who receive..." and "The driver who receives..."? //@Anonymous: Assume every package you deliver receives a thank you. You need to deliver 2740 packages a day for 365 days to get 1 million thank you. Do we know how long Amazon is running this promotion? That cool 5 Million is only for the 1st to get to the mark. Hmm, need a more definite way to assure getting the 5 Million.
One suggestion, if you live in a small town and you are the only Amazon driver there, please order 1 million small items like 99 cent Plackers Micro Mint Dental Floss Picks with Travel Case or items that has free return. You can get to the 1M thank you by shipping them to your home, your friend homes, etc. Get the thank you and receive your $5M. Stick it to Amazon =)

By anonymous on 12/07/2022, 07:38 PM EST
I just did it and Alexa said “Hmmm I don’t know that one…”

By anonymous on 12/07/2022, 07:27 PM EST
Well put! I had an Amazon delivery driver just last week deliver my package to the wrong house, photographed the package at the wrong house, then I stopped him some 300 ft from that house and he simply said oh another driver will be coming around soon with my package. I literally had to walk across to the package that was at the wrong house to get my own package. And we're meant to thank these people? Maybe I'm missing the point here somewhere. //@anonymous: Do I need to thanks to the amazon delivery drivers due to he has lost dozens of my packages by keeping delivering to wrong address?

By anonymous on 12/07/2022, 07:12 PM EST
Tried on my Alexa App. It says:" I am glad you enjoy your recently delivery. I will share that with our delivery partner: USPS. Thanks"
