i think Sony is plan to release another minor revision to improve the fab of AMD chips. First revision implemented Q3 2022 was moving from 7nm to 6nm. It may move to 5nm Q3 2023 and for Q4 2024 release 5nm slim PS5 + PS5 Pro with Std. I thought the Amazon invitation system was fake news but I got one a day after purchasing from Sony Direct a few days ago. Did not use the invitation. They gave me 72 hours to use it.

I have invited after a month. I got regular PS5 for $499 from amazon.
