Apology for the follow-up, but forgot to add that the cyborg hand does function well when assembled. It can adjust for adult hands and child hands. You can grab grapefruits and similar large objects, but pens are difficult. The finger tips only use two strips of foam for gripping objects. It is not easily disassembled for storage due to many parts so once you assemble it, that's it. My cyborg hand now rests in my basement, destined for thrift store.

Bought this for my 13 yr old niece in Christmas 2020. These were "discontinued" and selling for $100 on Ebay at the time, OOS everywhere, but I managed to find one buried beneath toys in Target. Niece was stunned at the gift and enthusiastic. Unboxing experience was intimidating because there are lots of small pieces. Grease lubricant is included. You fill the tubes with water. Assembly book has little to no text. Niece gave up early on and lost interest. Waste of money. I grudgingly assembled the hand myself and it was rather easy. You need to have a file to file down the sharp plastic. I recommend using a cuticle trimmer instead of scissors to accurately cut plastic pieces from part frames. Assembly may take 40min to 8 hours depending on how good you are with following picture instructions.
