The box I received yesterday has less than 8 months shelf-life (out of 3 years). Although these masks may work just as fine as those with 3 y expiry, seller just sells it for lower price without the reason why (disposing off old stock).

You are doing it wrong! Wear a mask on your face and a mask down there should give you good protection.
