Are you talking about furnace filters or AC filters? My house uses 1" AC filters also. //@Anonymous: be aware those are 1-inch thick. actually not a deal at all. SFH usually needs 4-inch filter

My SFH can take only 1 inch filter. 4 inch is very thick.
