Lot of misinformation regarding batteries floating around here. Also, if your batteries leak before using them and it’s before their dates the manufacture will reimburse you. Both rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries have their specific uses. That has not changed for decades. Great price for 2 dozen brand name.

Only good rechargeables are made in japan rechargeables //@Anonymous: Duracell and Costco both leak. I invested in some rechargeables and haven't looked back. The 24 pack of Amazon Basics are $1.50/each so after like 3 charges they're paying you.

Rechargeable AA/AAA have a nominal voltage of 1.2v vs alkaline ones are 1.5v. Rechargeable can not/will not replace alkaline. //@Anonymous: Duracell and Costco both leak.
