No it wasn’t.. it was $129 for the past few months… earlier it dropped to $99 for one day in Feb //@anonymous: It's been $99 for a while, except for a short interval in late Jan when it was $75. It was fun playing with it for like three months.

Thank you for the detailed info. Good for you, it only costs $850. //@anonymous: My reading has been averaging around 5-6 with peaks as high as 7.5. I was quoted $850 here in Michigan for the entire system including new circuit install for the electric fan. The overall system is not very complex as its some PVC, constant fan, electrical outlet, and custom made sump pump cover that seals. Seems like a reasonable expense for me considering I have a home office in my basement. //@Anonymous: I also found the numbers changed if I placed it in different locations. May I ask what your reading number is and you decided to install the mitigation system? Mine is around 5-6, and still hesitate to spent $4-6k to do that.
//@anonymous: I have this product and based on the past 6 months of data, it seemed that directionally I have a problem. Scheduled a radon mitigation system install this week. I plan to keep the unit running and see how my averages drop for the next month. //@Anonymous: I have this product. I think you cannot expect it as accurate as a commercial test. I use it as a brief estimate. If there is significant change, then I need to do something. In general, I don’t expect it as an accurate measure, just an estimate. //@Anonymous: I have the same question. //@Anonymous: Does anyone know how accurate this product is? Thank you!

Thank you for the information. I was told 4 years ago, the cost was $2,000, so I made an assumption that the current cost would double due to COVID and inflation. //@anonymous: A professional mitigation system should be approx $1300 installed //@Anonymous: I also found the numbers changed if I placed it in different locations. May I ask what your reading number is and you decided to install the mitigation system? Mine is around 5-6, and still hesitate to spent $4-6k to do that.

It works well with a decent quality, one battery change lasts a few years, I accidentally dropped it once but it's still working well.

It doesn't give you instant reading, it takes days to get the results.

Some of the reviews on Amazon suggest that it is pretty accurate, at least far more accurate than the mail-in tests some people do. Still, you can’t use this for a radon test associated with a real estate sale, so keep that in mind. //@anonymous: Does anyone know how accurate this product is? Thank you!
