im using it with local storage, very good for one time investment. it claimes battery will last 2 years, i don't believe it, but it seems to be going strong after 6 months so im happy with it.

the camera doesn't have the storage however with the sync module 2 you can store the video locally through a flash disk //@Anonymous: Looks like no local storage. You have to store all the videos onto cloud.
