I have Mint for 2.5 years now. I stream at least 10-15 GBs a month and have had no issues (I have the unlimited plan and have not hit a cap yet). I stream mostly when I workout and when I drive. I haven't had issues hotspotting either occasionally, but I think there's a cap on that. Just keep in mind that they are using T-Mobile networks and there are spotty areas. Think Verizon still has the least spotty areas, but they're also a lot more expensive. Also, more expensive to use Mint Mobile internationally. Haven't had the need to call or email customer support. I am guessing if you have an issue with your phone that you might do that maybe... but the billing and stuff is pretty straight forward and dry. Not much to argue/negotiate there. You won't get a refund if you stop using it halfway - you prepaid for it.

Will not work for current customer. You have either to get a new number or leave Mint then port your number back. //@Anonymous: also a mint customer, service seems fine. does anyone know if this deal is good for current customers? and if these can be purchased multiple times and applied to a single account? thx

Obviously. Because I and my family are using Mint Mobile for the last 5 years. We are all loving it. Zero issues. Maybe you are working for T Mobile. //@Anonymous: You have responded 'Nonsense' to what I have read online. I apologize, obviously you know a lot more than me.

WHy and what will you be downloading when you are at a baseball game, arent you there to watch the game, if you want to download, stay home connect to wi-fi and download //@Anonymous: nonsense //@Anonymous: I did quite a bit of research on Mint mobile and there's two things that I found that concern me.
One is their customer support, a lot of it is done by email and you get many complaints of not getting things done in time. I think this is very important, you have to have a good platform when it comes to customer service.
Secondly, because they use T-Mobile's towers T-Mobile customers come first so you could be a baseball game and the T-Mobile customer next to you has got full five bar capacity and is doing loads of downloads whereas you've got basically nothing if that makes sense as T-Mobile customers come first, and rightfully so.

These are problems for every MVNO. On the upside, their price is unbeatable, and you will be fine in most use cases.
