Once a set value is reached, will it stop inflating? //@Anonymous: You can't set a pressure value to add air automatically. You have to hold the trigger until the correct pressure. Not so useful.

Yes this is better, but I use my DeWalt inflator a lot more. //@anonymous: P747 is much better

Actually the auto shutoff gauge is not very important. If you’re topping off a car tire, you’re probably not adding more than a few PSI and you easily stop it yourself when you see the digital gauge get to the right PSI. //@anonymous: That's what I'm afraid of. Thanks to point it out. //@Anonymous: You can't set a pressure value to add air automatically. You have to hold the trigger until the correct pressure. Not so useful.

I have 3 pumps and this is the one I use the most. Smaller and simpler to use than these need to plugin to power source. //@Anonymous: You can't set a pressure value to add air automatically. You have to hold the trigger until the correct pressure. Not so useful.

Lots of questions on the last one for "is this a good drill for home owners." An impact driver is different than a drill a home owner would use. If someone is asking if this is right for a home owner, I would think this tool is too specialized for what they would want or need.

I got my 2x4.0ah batteries with charger for $35 on the Ryobi day deal //@anonymous: battery and charger costs way more than the tool itself

P747 is much better

That $39 deal comes with a 1.5AH battery, not the regular ones you would see on such tools.

Is it good for tires?

This was how I started using and willingly having to invest for Ryobi tools. A free tool that needed a battery and later on a battery compatible with other tools. //@anonymous: battery and charger costs way more than the tool itself

Below has a deal for a impact driver @$39 with battery and charger. The battery can be used here. Buy both. Great deal.
