Perceived value changes based on the need. It’s a great hardware and probably the best tracking device out there. How much value do you put on it? Depends on what you need it for. Do you use it to track a tv remote? keys? A pet? Or a kid? My understanding is it needs phone to interact with it so you can’t really track a phone with it, unless you have 2 phones, one to lose and and the one to track the lost phone on. //@anonymous: too expensive! only consider it under $10
